2503 Advanced dock - disable the fan?

I do not use a graphics card or any card in the PCI-E slot.

I heard that if you're not making use of the video card expansion that the fan is unnecessary.

Firstly, can I have this confirmed and secondly where can I find the connector for that fan? My t61 docked into the ultrabase is as loud as my desktop PC.
