[Help]RAM Upgrade: PC2-3200 compatible with T40?

#1 Post by edmonton » Mon May 02, 2005 12:52 pm

I wonder if PC2-3200 RAMs will be able to function on a T40.

My T40 originally use PC2100 RAM, and was tested to be working with PC2700 and PC3200. I just don't know if it will work with PC2-3200.

Thanks!

if you meant DDR2 PC-4200 then it will not be compatible, as the pin configuration is different, it wont fit in the socket.

PC-3200 i am not sure, if someone else who has tried might enlighten us.

May be PC2-3200 fit your T40's slot but the speed will run at 266hz.
