SOLD: 2 SXGA+ x61t (one v. good, one rough), 2 Ultrabases

Hi. Some things I'd like to sell:
  • One very nearly mint x61t with a 1400x1050 screen. It has two small chips on the corners of the screen bezel but the body of the tablet otherwise looks almost unused: no keyboard shine, no scratches/marks, has faint new Thinkpad smell. I got this from a former Intel hardware engineer who said he had received it as a bonus/toy and used it on just one business trip.

The hard drive on this machine clicks and doesn't boot. But I have booted it with both a Linux USB and the hard drive from the machine below and the screen is gorgeous and the hardware works. The fan is loud (IIRC there is a fix for this on this forum).

Sticker on front says Vista Basic but license on back is for Vista Business.

    2GB RAM, 1.6 GHz L7500 Core 2 Duo
  • One *very* rough x61t, also with SXGA+ screen. On this machine there is keyboard shine, bubbling screen with a large crack, the glue between the screen layers continues to leak down over the fingerprint reader, screen bezel corners are badly chipped/cracked, plastic around the keyboard is cracked with a few pieces broken off. Clasp for hinge is missing.

But it is a functional laptop and even with the enormous crack and seeping glue the screen is still better than most.

    2 GB RAM, 1.6 GHz L7500 Core2Duo, 160 GB hard drive
  • Ultrabase with DVD writer, excellent (hardly) used condition, with keys.
  • Ultrabase with DVD writer, excellent (barely) used conditon, no keys.
  • OEM battery, cycle count 11, full charge capacity 72.27 Wh (somehow more than design capacity of 66.24), Power Manager reports green, "Good" status, says Mfr is Sanyo.
  • Ebay battery, cycle count 140, full charge capacity 41.70 (design capacity 60.48), status green/good, Mfr Sanyo per Power Manager.
  • Extra trackpoint caps, x61t and Ultrabase manual, extra stylus tips.
  • One set of x61t restore disks from the rough x61t. (I tried to make a second set but the ThinkVantage tool said only one per license. Are these tied to the license key on the bottom of the laptop? If not I'm happy to copy the DVDs.)
  • One OEM Lenovo AC adapter. Cord is frayed at the connector and should be replaced. But it works fine for now.
  • REI Wrap laptop sleeve. This has been discontinued; velcro top and left side wraps allow snug fit of odd size/shape laptops.

$450: Clean x61t + OEM battery + Ultrabase with keys + trackpoint caps, etc. + power supply with frayed cord. No hard drive.
$75?: rough x61t with hard drive restored to factory image, no battery, no AC adapter.
$35: Ultrabase with DVDRW, no key.
$25: Ebay (Sanyo?) battery.
$10: REI bag.

Could swap the 160 GB hd into the good tablet but don't know if this complicates issues with the Vista licenses or the restore disks. Guess I could swap license stickers too. If I kept this machine I'd almost certainly get an SSD and install Win8.

Obviously we all have access to ebay and other markets. These are my best guess at reasonable prices (offers welcome) and would like to sell by the end of the month. Feel free to mix and match items above.

I'm in 94941 about 7 miles north of San Francisco. US buyers only, please. Add actual shipping cost to your location and 3% if you want to use PayPal. Local pickup welcome.

My ebay feedback page, fwiw.

Thanks!

Offering the first bundle at $400. Maybe recycling the other tablet.

Just some feedback, that price seems a little high for the first bundle. Even though it is a tablet and comes with the ultrabase, it's a 1.6 and not in good working condition (without a good HDD). I watch eBay frequently for those.

Thanks for the comment about pricing.

I checked ebay before posting and set a price on the high end of what I saw on offer, taking into account my past disappointments with the condition of ebay laptops. This one (apart from the chipped corners and bad hd) is very very clean. I didn't place much value on the (lack of) hd thinking that if I kept it I would install an SSD and Win8.

However I had another look at recent completed listings and and agree with you, so now $325 obo.
