A21p - Swap screen with a T43p possible?

I've got a quite battered out A21p with several cosmetic defects and a very bad UXGA screen. The 1/3 lower part of the screen is by far darker than the rest. Since I have lying around another UXGA screen from a T43p, that's not pristine but is collecting dust anyway, I was wondering if I can swap the panels. Will that work?

P.S. I'm assuming the darker lower part is due to a defective LCD panel, or maybe the cable or something else the culprit?

A31p/T43p could be swapped, so I guess A21p/T43p should also go, provided they both have 30-pin LCD-connectors.

The panel from T43p might have a bit of "play" in the A2x lid, since it's 1mm thinner than the original one, but it will work.
