When did Lenovo stop making X60/X61 (non-tablet) batteries?

X60/X61 series specific matters only.

When did Lenovo stop making X60/X61 (non-tablet) batteries?

#1 Post by Edward Mendelson » Mon Feb 04, 2013 2:12 pm

Someday soon, I'll want to replace my X61s batteries and I wonder if anyone knows what the last date was when Lenovo manufactured these? I've seen a battery with a manufacturing date of June 2010, but I don't think I've seen anything later. Is June 2010 the most recent we're likely to find?

Thanks for any information.

I am pretty sure they are still being manufactured. Under the names Thinkpad Battery 31 (4-cell slim) Thinkpad Battery 22 (4-cell cylindrical) and 22++ (8-cell).
