After replacing the LCD, CMOS battery, keyboard and installing a 1GB CF card as hard drive, my 701c is finally in working order, running MS-DOS 6.22 happily.
Does anyone know where to download drivers, BIOS updates, utilities, etc. that were available for the 701c, or still have these files stored somewhere?
701c drivers, BIOS updates, etc.?

Re: 701c drivers, BIOS updates, etc.?
This site is very useful: http://ee.lbl.gov/leres/butterfly/
I tried to update BIOS without battery on mine but couldn't succeed (had difficulties typing the correct command line switches and the flasher didn't start).
Also, I lost the floppy drive somewhere so have to find that first. But my 75Mhz model with its base 8MB RAM runs W95B snappy enough, of course it is just for tinkering, I don't really use it
I bought two 32MB memory sticks for 701c but with either of them installed the machine wont' POST, so I guess these won't work (they have 2 chips on either side).
Thought about trying OS2 Warp 4 on it someday, never used OS2 so it will be very exciting!
