X31 has a 1 pixel wide line running vertically down the right third of the screen.
Can something in the screen be replaced to fix this or do I have to replace the entire screen?
Thanks

You'll have to swap the entire screen.

It's a faulty column driver. Sometimes you are lucky and the problem is intermittent, and can be remedied by messing with / "massaging" / applying gentle pressure to the contacts at the back of the LCD panel. However, you are just as likely to make things worse. With that said, most people will find such a defect unacceptable and will be looking for a new screen anyways. So there's little to lose.
