It has a pointing device at the usual location, but it's not a traditional TrackPoint.

. . . optical touchpad taking the place of the usual TrackPoint. The best way to think about it might be to compare it to the optical touchpads on BlackBerry devices of yore. There's no "stick" here to bear down on, to push from left to right. Instead, you run your finger over the surface, as you would the touchpad you have on your laptop.
