What's average RAM consumption for x220 when idle?

hi all,
was wondering what's average RAM consumption for x220 i5 2520, 4gb RAM when in idle as mine consumes 37%-40% when nothing is being done on it. CPU consumption at that time is about 0%-3%. cheers

Sounds normal. I have 8GB of RAM and my memory usage when idle is about the same. Windows will make use of however much RAM is available to it in the best way it sees fit.

Thanks. I decided to ask as my desktop is using about 16% o it's 8GB and i ws thinking that something miht not me OK with the thinkpad, but after reading your reply i feel better thanks once again.
