Seeking for a MultiPort II for my 701C

Hello everyone! This is my first post here!

Now I am waiting for my dear Thinkpad 701C to arrive. It is a 2630-7TU. Expectedly it has a dead CMOS battery. However, except for this it is a complete working machine, even the PCMCIA slot cap is still there. Really a beautiful machine!

Just after purchaseing the 701C, I discovered a FD-05P external FDD (FRU 10H4055). Since it costs only $8.5 I bought it at once. However, after some searching, I sadly found that it is incompatible with the 701C. I tried to retract my purchase but the item was already shipped out. Really unlucky

So now I am seeking for a MultiPort II FRU 10H4021 which could enable me to make use of the FDD. I don't want to ship the FDD back since the shipping fee would be more than half of its price.

Or are my searching results wrong? I.e. the 10H4055 can be used on the 701C? All advice welcomed.
