T42 audio problems?

#1 Post by baldyguy » Tue May 03, 2005 9:38 pm

I'm trying to play my DVDs and MP3s using the T42's speaker and it seems like it's not loud at all? I mean you can barely hear it? Is this normal? I mean I try to max it out and you can hear it but it's not loud or crisp? I'm not sure how loud it's supposed to be.

I depends on the encoding on your DVDs and MP3s. First try to adjust the volume in windows volume control and your media player. If you are using a codec like AC3, adjust in its own control panel as well. Also try using headphones or external powered speakers.

Some of my DVD rips sound very soft and I have to turn the volume of my external speakers to max to hear it.
