IBM ThinkPad 390X Memory Error?

When I turned on my 390X "been awail since I turned on my machines" I get this right after the boot IBM ThinkPad Logo. "ERROR! EDO RAM exist, system halt." It has 1 stick of RAM inside it not sure of the size.
