#1 Post by crashnburn » Fri Mar 08, 2013 5:53 pm

http://forum.crucial.com/t5/Solid-State ... d-p/122014

I posted this on crucial forums and have posted lot of Chkdsk and CrystalDiskInfo details.

Thoughts and comments from the experts here.

PS: I am calling for an RMA, but want to understand what is happening here - Is this critical or normal?

Out of sheer curiosity: why haven't you updated the firmware, especially in the light of "5000 hour" issue that's been bugging some of the M4s?

Calling for a RMA is the only thing to do.

CRC errors = :BAAAD!:

I have updated to the latest Firmware. Still have those errors. Will run CHKDSK again if needed.

PS: Any other things I can run on the SSD to STABILIZE it, even if it means marking certain number of memory sectors/ cells as bad.
