14.1" SXGA+ question

#1 Post by D3c » Wed May 04, 2005 3:03 pm

Hi,

I currently got a T42 (2373K1A) with a 14.1" XGA screen. How much would it cost me to get an SXGA+ screen?

By the way, it has to be shipped to Denmark.

Thanks in advance,
Christian

Best to just sell your machine and buy another ThinkPad, will be cheaper and more reliable. Perhaps you can find someone on this list interested in downgrading for some $$$.

The thing is that I just bought this Thinkpad, so selling it is out of the question. Anyway, I thought I could get a better screen for like, $250?

Don't count on it.

I've heard getting new a new screen can be QUITE expensive. Like 600$ or something.

I'd say your best bet is definitely selling it, or getting used to it...

Good luck.

Hmm I'll just keep using this screen then, if it really is such a major problem to get a better.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
