SXGA+ ?

So, I am working on a t23 and would like to get the best display possible. I just made an impulse purchase that I think is correct.

It is listed as XGA but the p/n appears to be SXGA+. Did I waste my cash?

Also, will I need a special inverter or will the one in my XGA machine work?

My machine is a 2647-9GU.

Assuming that the 46L2493 FRU is correct, then yes, that's an SXGA+ screen. The Hitachi part number in the boilerplate (?) description provided by eBay of TX36D97VC1CAA also appears to point to a 1400x1050 screen. Inverters between the two panels are the same (FRU 10L1402).

Yes, Ron is correct

. The XGA cable on the T22 is different than the SXGA+ cable. If you don't already have it, download the Hardware Maintenance Manual for the T2x systems here:
