annoying mouse scroll resetting

#1 Post by pjc30943 » Mon Mar 18, 2013 7:03 pm

A very big annoyance is that at least once every few days the Lenovo Laser Mouse mouse scroll wheel properties magically changes back to 1 line per scroll wheel click.
Or, it still says 6 lines per click, but it only scrolls 1/click. Then i have change that number 6 to say 7, then back to 6, and then reapply the settings for it to work.

Why is this? This is lenovo hardware, i can't imagine it being incompatible.

Hi,

have you tried updating the Ultranav driver? I had this same issue previously - whenever I used the touchpad (and the bar along its right edge to scroll websites), there was a chance that the scroll wheel would be changed to 1 line per click on the mouse.

It's gone away for months now though so I imagine that at some point, an update fixed it. Hope this helps!
