t61 firefox touchpad/mouse scroll speed

Hi,

I have a problem with my Firefox browser and touchpad/mouse window scroll. When I start browser without mouse attached to usb port and use touchpad to scroll vertically and then attach mouse the scroll speed of mouse wheel is reported by Firefox as if it was set to default value (extremely slow scrolling). Mouse wheel scroll speed is set to 5 and if I restart Firefox and once again start to scroll with mouse the speed is reported correctly. From my observation other browsers like Opera, Chrome work properly regarding window scroll (still need to check this more minutely).

Is this some hardware issue or software malfunction?
