installing new bluetooth & clear plate

I have a T60 6371-74U and it does not have a bluetooth. I installed one on my T42 before so I may be able to do it again. My question is If I replace the clear plate on T60 with one that has bluetooth and wifi (is it possible) wil it recognize it? do I have to remove the screen frame or just pry the old one up and stick the new one down? Any help will be appreciated.

T60 has the BT module inside the lid, attached to the LCD-cable.
To 'activate' it, you will probably need a new LCD-cable with BT connector, plus the BT module itself, plus the BT clearplate.

The clearplate isn't required to use bluetooth, only if you want the LED to light up when it's enabled. There is no reason you need the led to be working to use BT.
