w510 won't warn me b4 battery peters out

My w510 won't warn me when the battery is about to peter out. It just shuts down. I have it set to alarm or whatever when it reaches 10% power remaining, but that doesn't work. How can I get it to warn me in time to plug the thing in?

Sounds like you need to do a battery reset via Power Manager. The guage might not be properly calibrated to actual battery capacity.
