hi,
i have an x61 table with the l7500 1.6ghz with middelton's bios, it has been running hot cpu + AGN wifi card plus its original 7200rpm hdd.
it has never failed or shutdown because of temperature however i was planning to over clock it to 2.4 using a translated german guide ( wondering if there is an english one available) so i downloaded realtemp which says my temp is at 77C !!!!
the fan is running fine so i was wondering what i can do to fix this..thanks
Help needed with temperature probem !!!

Re: Help needed with temperature probem !!!
77C? I think my x61t goes up to 83C while playing League of Legends with Chrome opened for youtube music... this is from using TPFan control.
It has shut down on me only once before, Im guessing I pushed it too much when using an external display. But that was one 2 hours worth of gaming, not fun, but great for winter.
This is without the Middleton bios but with an SSD.

Yeah my x61t runs a bit hotter at idle, usually it's around 65C when I'm drawing on the tablet in photoshop.
As with that 7th pin question, I don't quite understand what you are getting at.
For what I use it for, 4GB of ram is acceptable to me.
