Got Seagate momentus 5400.2 100GB.. put it in A31p

So I got a Seagate 5400.2 100GB to replace the noisy HD in A31p. I was going to go with 7k60 but decided against it after reading benchmarks and comments from many. I could use extra 40 GB space as I am uisng A31p as desktop replacement. The performance increase is definitely noticeable. Applications start faster, smoother.

it is so much quieter now, without the kriking noise that was so annoying in the old drive. Now all I hear is the fan, which is not bad at all since I put it in adaptive mode and mostly runs at 1.2 GHz. And the 5 year waranty is just unbeatable. I just checked wararnty status and it is until april 2010... WOW..

Also I had a PCI USB 2.0 card lying around so I just plugged that in the doking station's PCI slot.

Now with the doking station, upgraded wifi (IBM b/g), and the 100GB HD it is simply the perfect desktop replacement. All I need now is a ultrabay2000 HD adapter to use the old HD in the docking station's ultrabay for storage. Hopefully since it will be used as storage hopefully it won't make as much noise as it used to.
Now I just need to get a firewire or USB 2.0 external DVD burner... :D :D

YES I could not be happier.

I am waiting for memorial day and hopefully there will be some good sale / rebate on external DVD burner. :)
