X61s fan replacement?

It's time to replace the fan in my X61s. Does anyone have any suggestion about where to get a quiet, reliable replacement, and what kind of thermal grease to use?

Also, is this guide a more or less accurate set of instructions for doing this:

I really like Lenovo's maintenance manuals for anything I do on my Thinkpads. I'm sure Ebay is as good a source as any for a replacement fan. As for thermal paste, there really is not that much difference between the good stuff. A few degrees here and there. The application of such paste is a greater factor. Among the TIM that I've used and liked in the past are Arctic Silver 5, MX4, Noctua, Thermalright and a bunch more. Currently all I'm using is MX4 as it's cheap and readily available locally.
