Advise power adapter for T430s

#1 Post by strider » Thu May 02, 2013 4:47 pm

Please advise a power adapter for T430s with discrete graphics. I know that lenovo sells them, but 90W cost 60$, which I believe is expensive.
There is a lot of 40Y7659 compatible adapters on amazon and eBay but I don't know if they are genuine and I don't want my notebook to die because of power adapter.
Thanks!

A genuine Lenovo power adapter is best. The only non-Lenovo I had went, literally, up in smoke after a week of use. Fortunately my T61 was not damaged. Ebay is always risky. I would contact forum member TuuS. I'm sure he'll have a few of these kicking around.

How much did you pay for it? Did you order it directly from lenovo or from a reseller? was it 65 or 90W?

Please look at my site: http://www.amazon.com/shops/computerthrifts and go through some of my customers' comments. my products are 100% genuine. I have a couple 65w(+10) right now. 90w I might get some soon.

I work with T400 T410 and T420 everyday at job. No T430(s) yet, but they're coming...
