I'm running Windows 8 but like to stay away from metro as much as possible, as my X230 does not have a touchscreen, only a rather small touchpad. And a gazillion other reasons.
So now Windows is bugging me about enhanced features being available for the Lenovo Settings app. All good, but it opens my browser and downloads a settingsdependencytp.exe file, which after installing doesn't seem to resolve the problem. Still says enhanced features available.
So really, I want the same features (hotspot, location awareness, camera settings ...) but in a non-metro app. Is that possible on Windows 8?
S
Is there a non-metro version of the Lenovo Settings
