Lenovo.com indicates that the Twist includes "No Mobile Broadband support". However, at the Lenovo Support website they have firmware posted for the Ericsson H5321gw/C5621gw Mobile Broadband and list it as being compatible with the ThinkPad S230u.
I have seen several WWAN cards advertised on eBay, including a WWAN mini-card and a WWAN half card. Will either type of card (full or half) work in a Twist? If not, which one do I need?
- Mobile Broadband 3G Ericsson H5321gw
- Sierra Wireless Gobi3000 Qualcomm 3g
Has anyone installed and successfully connected to mobile broadband system in a GSM environment in Africa (or Eurpoe) using one of these cards? I would need to be able to connect using this WAN card and a SIM card for a system wireless provider like Vodacom or Orange in Kinshasa, DR Congo (or elsewhere in Africa).
Which WWAN Card will work in a Twist S230u?
