Internal Wireless Upgrade

I know this topic had been discussed many times but I couldn't find the topic about the non-built in wifi for Thinkpad T23. I thought of upgrading it to an internal mini PCI wireless card, but not too sure whether my model had equipped with the antenna or not. Suggestions?

Your model has no built-in antennas:

Apparently IBM increased the part prices substantially, probably it´s not worth anymore...

search for wifi upgrade posts by nolonemo, should have link to antenna you can install under palmrest and inside left hinge and perhaps some instructions. PM me for more info if you need. The IBM parts for the "real" upgrade now cost over $200, excluding the modem.

Oh! It looks hell of a job,man! But I can't lose my modem.....i do use it sometimes when I travel. What about those T23 with built in wifi? Are they the same? They don;t tend to lose anything like the modem aren't they?
