I'm posting here. It's probably the wrong place but I haven't found anything better.
In XP Pro the helps go on and on telling you about needing a passkey or passcode to connect a bluetooth device. Attempting to connect (bluetooth cell phone) brings up my computer's name on the cell and a place to put its matching passkey/passcode.
N-O-W-H-E-R-E
does it tell you how or where to input this key/code into your computer so you can match it on the cell!!!!!!!!!! It only tells you you really, really need one.
There must be someone who knows what this is all about. Helps HINT that you just put whatever number you want into the device you want (cell) you want connected and everything and everybody will live happily ever after. But that merely gets the number rejected. That seems to mean that there is a CORRECT key/code SOMEWHERE, but I can't prove it.
Is there NO PLACE to actually input this passkey/passcode into your computer? The sales pitch found in the "helps" gives no hint.
