UPC A Barcode generator

#1 Post by jronald » Mon Jun 03, 2013 8:08 am

I need a freeware font that I can generate UPC-A barcodes with for retail sales. We are combining 2 items to sell with a third, and the 2 singles are inside the box....so rather than take them out to scan, I would like to provide additional bar codes. I have tried 2 already, but they do not generate the "guide" bars, so our scanners will not read them.

Any ideas?
Ron

What about this free online one? - http://www.barcoding.com/upc
How many and how often do you have to print them?
Wasp Labeler would be an easy (but $150) Windows software option.
I have printed directly to Zebra thermal printers with ZPL code for constantly changing barcodes.

I believe the Brother P-Touch units that have USB connectors also come with software that can generate barcodes.
