Hello all,
I have a thinkpad L430 and I did a complete format and reinstall of windows 7 64bit, I ran Lenovo system update and all went ok. When the power lead is in there are no problems however when it is removed I lose sound. When I open windows media player It comes up as the songs are not in the playlist, on web sites like youtube the video plays but no sound and on shutting down there’s no system sound.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

L430, no sound on battery.
Re: L430, no sound on battery.
I've no idea, but maybe a couple things to check would be device manager to make sure the device is installed properly and the sound properties in control panel, to make sure the correct device is selected.
