I got my second W500:

Aaaaand I just got my T430 back from the repair center, and they fixed the thing that Lenovo said they wouldn't fix, because it was a non-warranty part. :D

Fgs, was hoping someone would say a ferrari, lol.

I bought a Honda CBF125. Was the biggest bike (size, as I'm 6'.1'' (still growing) on my restricted A1 license (125cc max, and max. 15BHP. This license you can have from being 18-20, then you upgrade to A2 (No size limitation, but less than 48BHP), and then finally when you are 22 years old, you can upgrade to the completely unrestricted A license)

Image

Really fun and also easy to ride.
I get around 45 km/l (~105 mpg) on it, and insurance is very cheap, so really nice communter bike for young people. :)

Very nice bike, W500, and T430! :D :thumbs-UP:

I got a new Lenovo C440 earlier this month. I'm really loving it. This is my first new computer since 2004 - when I got my R51, my first All-In-One, and my first desktop since 2002 - when I got my NetVista A22p. I haven't gotten a computer since 2010, when I got my T60. I've even posted a review recently about it, which can be found here.

Here's my C440 with my T60:

Some more pics of my C440 can be seen here.
ThinkPads: R51 (1836HAU), T41 (23737FU), 600 (264551U), T60 (2008VRQ), T500 (224255U)

I Love (all) ThinkPads...ThinkPad forever!

Both of these are "new" to me. It's amazing how much they've changed in 10 years.

Left is a 600X. It's a 500 MHz Pentium III, 64 megs ram, 12 gig hard drive, DVD-ROM and Floppy Drive. Grabbed it off Freecycle.
Right is a T410. It's a 2.4 GHz Core i5 520M, 6 gigs ram, 160 gig hard drive (planning on getting a SSD soon), DVD burner and no floppy. Got it off ebay for $220, minus 4 gigs of ram (it came with 2 gigs)

Seems like a lot of ThinkPad users spend their money buying more ThinkPads haha. ;)

Not actually received or even ordered any of this yet (going away tomorrow so will order when I am back and hence for stock images), but I am going to drop 80 quid on a Blu Ray Burner drive and 25 blank TDK Blu Ray discs for my PC. Got a friend who is interested in buying my existing Samsung Blu Ray ROM for his new build.

Went for a Pioneer BDR-208DBK (can also burn 3D Blu Rays apparently)

Image

Just got the bare drive, didn't need any software. Not amazing aesthetically but who cares about that, it sits under my desk behind the case door.

And yeah 25 blank TDK BR discs.

Was gonna go for the Pionner drive but went for the LG BH16NS40 instead since I know LG is a good brand (used them in the past).

Also bought a 400ml can of compressed air and the 25 TDK Blu Ray discs. Cost me £86 all in all.

Received this Dell Latitude D810 last week and am loving it:

Image

I bought it for its very loud speakers (since I need to play music on it), its ability to use an IDE HDD plus a SATA HDD, and its business-class quality. It isn't as well-built as the top Thinkpads, though it's at least as good as IBM's R Series.

A T410 on the cheap!

240$
Intel Core i5-540M 2.53GHz
Onboard Intel 5700MHD graphics
1280x800 LED Display
4GB ram
640GB 7200rpm Hard drive
6 Cell battery (Good for around 4 hours)

Image

So far, I've upgraded to 6GB of ram and 120GB SATA3 SSD. The old 2GB RAM stick and the 640GB Hard drive should sell for around 40$, so a T410 for 200$ it is!

Thanks, I'm really pleased with it so far, even though the condition could be better. (lid and hinges has some marks, and the hinges are a tad to the loose)

I saw this baby at the store today, and thought I'd try one, as I've seen some 'advertising' on here *cough cough*, and since they are quite uncommon here in Denmark. (No not the Thinkpad :D)

Macbook White Mid-2009. Its liquid damaged, mouse button and one ram slot is dead. Otherwise it runs remarkably well.

Its a service unit. Figured the crashes and shutdowns were because of the liquid damage. Plenty of white/grey gunk on the board as well. And sticky buttons galore. By the time i realised one of the rams slots were bad, and were causing the crashes, i had already labeled it a total loss. Owner said i could keep it since he got a new one on the insurance.

32GB Kingston USB 3.0 drive failed on me, so I just bought a £50 SanDisk Extreme 64GB USB 3.0. Apparently it's one of the fastest USB 3.0 drives out there as of yet.

Yeah I'm pretty pleased with this drive. Transfer speeds are good!

Just over a minute to copy a 14GB video rendered in h.264 1080p at 200MB/s isn't bad is it? ;)

I've just run Crystal Disk on it. Excuse the text in the Notepad file on the right, I ran this test for another forum which I am active on.

It's very good when you consider that this is a flash drive and can transfer files at about half the speed of my Vertex 4 SSD.

I got this laptop for a family member. I love the build of this machine and have had experience using them at work. I no longer recommend Thinkpads because the Elitebook has better craftsmanship, is easier and friendlier to repair than newer Thinkpads, and in the short run the newest models (specifically the EliteBook 840) still have traditional trackpoint buttons. Unfortunately, the Elitebook brand is falling prey to the Ultrabook phase as well, but HP did not go full derp like Lenovo did.

32GB Nexus 7 (2012), got it for under a hundred dollars in great condition with a case, early Christmas present for the wife.

My newest phone. Having a smartphone let me down in an emergency situation, so I sold high and bought low.

Lennovo LePhone/IdeaPhone A850 and Nillkin flip case. Needed something bigger than my Atrix. Great phone btw. I love it.

MK908, it was time to upgrade my netbook. Quad A9 and 2gb should do fine.

Just bought this in parperbook form so that I can start learning C#. Hoping to take a Microsoft Technology Associate exam in C# at some point, but I want to start learning the language first, obviously.

I got Visual Studio 2013 free from DreamSpark (thanks to my school for paying for it ;) ) so the book should work well with it.

I went to the library today to see if I could rent a copy. They do have a copy of Visual C# 2012 Step By Step, but it had been taken out. So, I just bought the book for £20 new from eBay. Not bad at all for 840 pages - and I've now got 2013 rather than 2012. :)
