Hi rychuu,

You can download HWMonitor, (just Google it). The free version will give you the basic temperature information you are looking for. Speedfan is also good. Ther is another program that I learned about recently called RealTemp. I haven't tried it yet, (busy with other things), but I am planning to soon. If you try RealTemp, could you post up how you find it?

Thanks

zog

Edit: Just tried RealTemp, seems basic but nice. Temps are within a degree c of what HWMonitor is showing.

A Thinkpad-specific thermal monitoring and management program exists.

It's called Thinkpad Fan Control, and is available here: http://www.staff.uni-marburg.de/~schmitzr/donate.html
Version 0.62 is the compatible with X60 series: http://staff-www.uni-marburg.de/~schmitzr/tpfc_v062.zip

Also, which part at the bottom is hot?
