I bought a used T60 and it is running XP well. However about once a day it announces that it wants to create a backup and gives me a choice as to whether to do it or not. It refers me to the Start menu ThinkVantage Productivity Center to schedule backups.
Darned if I can figure out from the Productivity Center how to schedule it to only run when I ask it do. My expectation was that maintenance -> configure maintenance tasks would be the way.
Also, there seems to be no set it or whatever button, and when I close the panel I don't know if it's accepted new settings.
I also don't know when other things like defrag are scheduled.
Any help appreciated.

Can I simply swap out my T5500 CPU in my 1953CTO T60 with a T5600? Or my T2400 core duo in my 2623D6U T60?
