Welcome to the forum.

IBM/Lenovo does not have a W7 driver for the T60/p, the 'newest' they have is for Vista.
Download it here: http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc ... d533ww.exe
And the readme file: http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc ... d533ww.txt
Install that in W7 Compatibilty mode.

Are you doing an upgrade? I'm asking because at this very moment I'm doing a clean W7 install on a light frankenpaded T60p with the same graphic card as yours and Windows Update picked up the drivers automatically from the very beginning, (although as "optional updates")

I had the Vista drivers and Lenovo System update prepared in a thumb drive just in case. But right after the clean install was finished I manually started Windows update (I never let Windows run the windows update automatically after the final stages of the installation). When I say the graphic card driver was available I deselected everything but the ATI driver, installed it and after rebooting and checking that the resolution was ok I started installing the rest (it's on update #90 out of 130) :|

I'd run the windows update a couple of times and see what happens if I were you. Did you try Lenovo System Update as well?

Good luck!

Yes, its a clean install.

I've had a 'play' and it looks like the driver has been installed.

But the ATI control panel etc is missing, so it looks like I will not be able to make any adjustments to the video card.

I'll keep at it and see if things can be improved.

Right, ATI CCC seems not to be there in my case too. I never bother much with it in my notebooks, I'll take a look tonight.

ATI never bothers to update drivers for video cards they consider obsolete. It's sad really because the fireGL 5250 still has many years of life left in it.

In this case using drivers from windows update may be the best option, but I usually prefer to get my drivers directly from lenovo, microsoft's update site tends to be very loose with their guesstimate of what drivers might work in your system so proceed with caution.
