Kevin, I have an XP setup disc you can use, it will install the latest service pack and most of the critical updates and has SATA integrated. If you install with it, you'll just need to install some lenovo specific drivers from their website and you'll be upto date. If you use the restore disc you'll have an outdated operating system and outdated (circa 2006) drivers, apps and bloatware, all of which will need to be updated.
