T43 fingerprints accepted but win xp do not works

hello
My T43 recognise the 4 fingers I have charged in database but XP do not go over the startup ..
what goes wrong ?
what I have to do ?

Forget about the Fingerprint Reader.
It is (and always has been) very unreliable.
Disconnect the FPR cable under the palmrest from the touchpad and/or disable FPR in the BIOS.
