FS High End T60p 15" Flexview, T7600 (2007-ys3) $199 updated

I'm selling this for a friend. I've done the maintenance on it and it's passed all the testing I threw at it. I recently upgraded it with a T61p fan mod and Arctic Silver #5, and the CPU and GPU are running substantially cooler than your average v5250 board.

This is one of the most powerful T60p models made. Original Specs are as follows...

T60p 2007-ys3
Based on 2007-CTO: T7600(2.33GHz), 2GB RAM, 100GB 7200rpm HD, 15in 1400x1050 LCD, 256MB ATI FireGL V5250, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11abg wireless, Bluetooth, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, 9c Li-Ion, WinXP Pro
Generic Battery (9cell) included

DVDmulti-burner now included too.

Not Included: Hard drive (cover is present), and AC adapter.

Harddrives are available

90w AC adapter available for $16

The plastics are in pretty good shape with normal wear on the base and lid cover. The keyboard has normal wear, about what you'd expect for a well cared for laptop of this vintage.

These high-end models are becoming rare and even though this one isn't "mint", it's far better then most I see coming into liquidation and starting at under $200, I think it will make someone a very nice laptop.

I'd gladly supply any of the missing pieces you may need.

Additional Info regarding cooling system.

The T60 and T60p discrete graphic models shipped with a cooling system that used a grey silicone pad to cool the GPU chips. Over time these begun to fail causing the laptops to run hot. When Lenovo was designing the T61p series they knew of this problem and wanted to improve upon it, so they redesigned the heatsink using 3 heatpipes instead of two and use thermal paste instead of the silicone pad for more direct heat transfer takes place. When a T60/T60p is retrofitted with the T61p cooling system it results in a much cooler running system. With the addition of Arctic Silver thermal paste we can get the temps down even lower. I have these Heatsinks available for $25 if anyone is interested in modding theirs. The modification required is minimal and the gain is substantial. I've seen max stress temps drop by 20c degrees after this mod and I personally feel this is a must for a high end machine like this. When I modded this machine several months ago I ran a baseline on the system then after the mod I ran it for over 24hrs so I could monitor temps to assure a good fitting of the new cooling system. I'd rank this mod as one of the most important upgrades you can do on one of these models, the last and most powerful Flexview ever made.
