news on the T50 board have been at a total standstill for some time now...

It appears that any hope for obtaining a T50 board has pretty much become nothing... but from what I've read, the T50 board was only barely above a failed experiment. It worked, but had small flaws and limitations that prevented it from being a positive solution for use as a daily driver.

I'd agree the T43p boards with SATA modification are far better solutions at the moment, as the T43p with a Pentium M, 2GB RAM and the V3200 can still appropriately run Windows 7 for basic tasks, and a SATA modification will allow for much better OS performance and speed.

We have yet to wait for another T50-esque board, or more T50 boards similar to these, or even another solution such as the rumored X6x-series board that I'm kinda waiting on.

Without saying more at this moment - reserving it for a separate post - I'd say that "discontinued" would be a fair assessment.

Defintely a shame the T50 didn't come to more. It was always destined to be a too good to be true upgrade for everyone.

I have noticed for a while the T501 is no longer a part of your sig. As the forum maestro for the T43p I would be keen to hear an update on your T50. Your reviews and insights are always highly respected.

I may be wrong, but I think George sold his T50 and T43p.

I really hope we see a 2nd revision to the T50 'board, or perhaps even a Sandy Bridge T51. I know I'm dreaming though...

Oh, right. Makes sense though. If I had a T50 I'd definitely hang onto it. Do you use it much?
