Stop Error: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

My laptop keeps showing the blue screen of death with a stop error about drivers I think is what it is about.

The specific error info given regarding the error is as follows:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Technical info:

Additional info: windows xp, series T60 think pad

Note that I have tried to download the paretologic pc health scan but have read that it was not safe and also didn't know it was not free, it said i had 183 or so errors not sure if that is correct - I dont want to use that method as I am not sure it is even safe. Are there any safe and hopefully free ways to correct this issue. I also tried going into the driver folder to see if there were any options to update this but there isn't.

Run memtest 86 from a bootable CD to test the RAM.

Remove the wireless card to see whether the problem goes away.
