LF: T400 recovery discs

Hello all. I am looking for a set of T400 recovery discs for model type 2768-12U. This is for a model with ATI switchable graphics. Burned copies are fine. Thanks!

The lookup says the shipped OS is Vista. Which OS are you looking for?

I am thinking that whatever OS was shipped out with the T400 is the one that will work. I once had a previous T400 (which shipped out with Vista Business 32 bit) and tried using W7-64 bit recovery discs however I was asked for the activation key. The key on the bottom of that T400 was for Vista Business so I do not want to deal with that issue.

I am plan on selling this T400 sometime soon. It is not being used and I really could use the money as my semester is about to start up once again. I do not have extra W7 or W8 keys handy so Vista Business will have to do. I feel that a T400 that is in very good condition and that works OOB are both attractive selling points.

Put a Slic-BIOS in, and W7 will install happily from any Lenovo W7 recovery disk.

I no longer have those W7 recovery discs I mentioned earlier. I had them ~1.5 years ago and have since then sold them. I did get an offer for the Vista Business discs that should work with my T400. Negotiations between the forum member and I are still in progress. I am a forum member of MDL as well so I am 'in the loop' as far as 'laptop sorcery' goes however I will sell this T400 as is and the new owner could do with it as he/she pleases
