Lenovo Battery Firmware Update

Lenovo has just released new Lenovo Battery Firmware Update.

This is not an urgent update; the problem will manifest itself over a period of months. Eventually, the battery will erroneously indicate that it can no longer hold any charge, but this effect is slow and accumulating.

(Fix) Improved accuracy of calculating method for full charged capacity and remaining capacity for the following batteries

Has anyone already tried the update ? I am a bit nervous when I have to apply a firmware update, especially when the firmware utility name is LnvBFU.exe

Hello, did it last week on my T420. Takes ages to do the update, I would say at least 45 minutes... Didn't see any change. The battery is around 18 months old and the T420 used almost every day.
