Needed : X60s modified bios

I currently have a X60s with the bios 2.19 version (7buj28us) installed. I would like to change the Wifi card to the Intel 6200 but I am aware that I need to have the whitelist removed from the bios. I have been unable to locate a modified version of that bios. If anyone can help me that would be great. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate.

On a side note, do I need to keep the WWAN card installed as I have no plans to use that feature?

The whitelist you need can be flashed with a file called no-1802.com

1802 is the name of the error message you get when you use a non-IBM wifi card

I see them out there in the wild in places like this: http://www.filecrop.com/no-1802.html

I have a no-1802.com in my archives. I have used it successfully on my lovely old X31. Gave that one away finally when I got an X200.

Just happened to be browsing this forum cuz I saw a nice clean X61 at the shop this afternoon and I'm really tempted...

@dancog:
the no-1802.com will ONLY work on X40/R51/T42 and OLDER.
X41/R52/T43 and NEWER need a modified BIOS!
