Core2Duo
Morning all
I need a lower end Core2Duo. Building my son a TI covered Z61m for his birthday. 2,0 would be great, 1.86 would be fine. Need it inexpensive. If you have a higher rated chip sitting around, I could swap it into my daily, that currently has a 2.0
Thanks
Ron

Re: Core2Duo
Ron,
Are you building a Z60m or Z61m?
The former takes Pentium M 533MHz and the latter Core Duo or Core 2 Duo...

Re: Core2Duo
I'm not too familiar with the compatibility of these cpu's. That's the reason I included the spec sheet link. That being said, if You don't think it's compatible George, I'm inclined to agree with you based on your knowledge.

Re: Core2Duo
The 7200 is reasonable enough off of fleabay. the 7400 are still pretty stupid for the little additional speed they offer.
