T61 bottom case in a R61?

I am thinking of replacing the bottom case and the motherboard in my 15" R61 with those from T61p PN: 44C3931

Would this work or is there a different layout?

In general, are top/bottom cases exchangeable between same-sized and equipped xT61s and R61s?
T420s - i7, 16GB RAM, Samsung 850 EVO + 1TB Hitachi 9.5mm, Nvidia, Oleh Bios.
W500 - C2D P9500, 8GB RAM, Samsung 830 SSD + 750GB Hitachi HDD, Intel+ATI GPU, bright WUXGA, FP-reader
Arch Linux, BTRFS+ZFS on LUKS

AFAIK it's not doable on a 15.4"...might be on a 14WS...
