T60 2007-B12 Motherboard Upgrade
Hi guys, well my old T60 2007 B12 has been damadged quite a lot in the past few years and instead of replacing what's damadged I'd upgrade it as soon as I have enough money. I'm wondering, could I upgrade the motherboard to something better such as a 2007-CT0 motherboard? Because:
1. Will it fit in the case?
2. Can I just take the components out of my old motherboard and put it in the new one as I'm not going to buy a set of whole new components.
Finally, I haven't decided which one to go for yet so could you also list the motherboards that could fit this criteria?

14.1" and 15" NON-widescreen boards are identical in size.
So any T60 motherboard for NON-widescreen will fit in there.
See also the HMM.

Could you suggest a board to upgrade it to?
I want to upgrade it to one that has mobility radeon x1400 and supports the Intel Cored 2 Duo T7600G. It would also be great if the board is overclockable.
The part of the motherboard that is damaged is the keyboard connector on it

Any T60/p board with a recent BIOS will support T7600G.HenryJia wrote:Could you suggest a board to upgrade it to?

None of them are "overclockable" in the desktop sense of the word, though.

So which ones have ATI X1400? I'm guessing all of the ones that have the graphics card have the Intel 945PM express chipset, am I correct?

Re: T60 2007-B12 Motherboard Upgrade
If you want the most powerful graphics, go with the FireGL 5250 rather than the X1400. The boards are available with Intel graphics, ATI Radeon x1300, x1400, and ATI FireGL 5200 and 5250. I believe I have all of these boards available except the Intel, ranging from $39 to $79.
Re: T60 2007-B12 Motherboard Upgrade
I want to be able to play games with it and I know there are known problems with this in the FireGL Cards so I want a Radeon X1400
