I Just noticed that , when i'm unplugging the AC cord , the brightness is a bit less .
on my power setting both AC and Battery as set on 7.
when i'm pluggint it back , it's going to higher brightness for less then a second and then lower a bit. but that's still seems to be higher then what it was on battery. is that normal ?
my battery for some reason is on 95% after all night plugged in.
i have to take the cord out or few seconds and back in and then it will actually charge it to 100%. seems like it's stopping at 95% "as full". but if i will "restart" it by taking the cord out for few seconds it will realize that it's not full and will continue to 100%
Any ideas ?
thanks Danny

The battery charging thing is a setting as well. It's not good for the battery to have it constantly "topping off" at 100% if you're on AC a lot, so there are thresholds that you can automatically or manually set for when your battery will start and stop charging. It's pretty cool actually. You'll find it in the Battery Maximizer app or the Power control panel applet.

Since I don't know what is actually good or bad for the battery, I just blindly go with auto. If I know I'm going to be on AC alone for weeks on end, sometimes I set it to start charging at 80% and stop at 95% so it's not constantly charging, but that's just because I can rather than because it does any gooddanny_isr wrote:got it , that's pretty cool thanks.
so what do you recomend , AUTO or manual (which setting for manual) ?
thanks Danny
