thinkpad t42

hi can anyone help i have a thinkpad t42 and when it comes on its all jumpy and it flickers quite bad ive tried new inverters and a new screen so i know they are alright it does boot into windows ok but with the junping and flickering problems anybody have an idea whats wrong ??

Most likely it is a bad ATI GPU chip.
It needs to be reballed, otherwise find another motherboard.
