Now this is interesting ... maybe I can start recommending new Win8 PCs to the over-70 crowd !!

I saw this on OSNews. Dubious that this was the best choice for a start menu replacement since people are claiming that it is really just an app store, especially given that there are already well-established open source start menu replacements.

Wouldn't it be made moot by Microsoft returning the Start menu on Windows 8.1 though?
IdeaPad S10 and ThinkPad Edge E130 user.

Windows 8.1 includes a "Start button" ... which simply returns you to the "Tiles" screen.

Windows 8.1 does not include a "Start Menu" or an "All Programs" function.

Oh, snap. Just when I thought Microsoft would throw users a bone… well good for Lenovo then.
