Buying an x130e, but what about x131e?

#1 Post by foodergolove » Wed Aug 28, 2013 8:05 am

Hi, n00b here. I am planning to buy an x130e, but I saw that there is also a model x131e. Could someone explain the differences to me? Thanks so much!

I'd say in practical terms, not much. You'll probably get newer CPUs on the X131e and the ports may differ a bit, but they're still both 11.6" ultraportable noteboks with HD screens and ULV CPUs. I think there's a Chrome version of the X131e if that does anything for you.

They were designed with school children in mind, so I think they tend to be a bit more durable than you average bargain ultraportable, but as always when something breaks, luck always plays a large role.
