BIOS update for A21m

My A21m is running BIOS ver. 1.05, dated 1999. Is it advisable to update to the latest (1.09)? I'm certainly not in favor of fixing what ain't broke, but I'm wondering if a BIOS some 4 years newer offers anything important. Thanks!

Decide it yourself (there have been plenty of changes since 1.05): ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs/mo ... sdkx36.txt

My advice: Upgrade it. You can roll back to the old BIOS whenever you want.

Hi there;

I have a thinkpad a22m with win 98SE. I plan to update the BIOS to install Xp, but there is a post that had a problem upgrade the BIOS with a blue error display, If I do the upgrade and something go bad how can I change to the old BIOS. Thanks
