Integrated camera is not working in windows 8

I have windows 8.1 on my ThinkPad T430 and its integrated camera is not working. Even when I had windows 8, the camera was not working. I googled the problem a lot and even tried to install drivers but with no success.
Could you please help me in fixing the problem?

I got the same problem as soon as I updated from Windows 8.0 to Windows 8.1 on my T430 a few days ago. I think we have to wait for an update for the integrated camera driver for Windows 8.1 from Lenovo.

PS But the camera worked fine in Windows 8.0

Ok I have to post this somewhere, but I had the problem with my T430s after upgrading to Windows 8 then 8.1 where the integrated camera stopped working apparently, it was my coworker who clued me in as to the reason, it's not broken, it just defaults to privacy mode, hit Fn F6 to bring up the Lenovo settings, click camera then under modes click normal, voila! it works now.
